A joint statement on COVID-19

In the wake of escalating concerns over the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), more than 50 Asian and Pacific Islander (API) organizations and community leaders in San Diego denounce the racist attacks, discrimination, and xenophobia directed at the API community.

The San Diego Chinese Women’s Association (SDCWA) is an energetic and dynamic organization committed to promoting Chinese cultural awareness and appreciation, the pursuit of college education and supporting charitable organizations that benefit the communities in which we live. Feel free to join us at one of our monthly meetings and activities.

Our Mission

  • To promote public awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the Chinese culture, including Chinese history, art, literature, customs, and traditions
  • To assist and support other charitable organizations which provide relief and services to the Chinese community in particular, and to other groups as the membership decides
  • To encourage the pursuit of higher education by members of the Chinese community through scholarship awards
